"It's important to have some leaders out there who show that ocean health is an important issue. Awareness has to start somewhere and the 11th Hour Racing Ambassadors Program is great way to spread the message."

Competent: Sailing, Foiling, Kiting, Windsurfing and sometimes Fishing!

On Ocean and Sailing Passion...

I think my enjoyment for sailing comes from the challenge it provides. It’s never the same. It also is an avenue for some great adventures. As for ocean health, one of the joys is its purity. It’s just really nice and beautiful out there. The oceans look mostly as they did 100-1000’s of years ago. We just have to make sure we don’t deplete them any more than we already have. I think if most people just had the opportunity to go out into the ocean and enjoy it, they would be sold on taking on a little more personal accountability to help with its future.
