Rachel Gover

Rachel is an Executive Assistant working across 11th Hour Racing and Ocean Hour Farm. Before joining the team, she spent three years at an educational travel nonprofit, helping to develop programs and itineraries and serving in an administrative role for the senior leadership team. Prior to that, she worked as a special education teacher at a transition academy, supporting young adults as they moved toward greater independence through functional skill-building and employment readiness. Both roles strengthened her commitment to contributing to mission-driven work.

Rachel earned her B.A. in Secondary Education and her M.A. in Special Education, both from Roger Williams University. Born and raised in Boston, she now calls Rhode Island home and has fully embraced life by the water. The daughter of a boat captain, she grew up cruising around Boston Harbor and developed a deep love and respect for the ocean. In her free time, you’ll find her paddleboarding, tackling the New York Times crossword puzzle, and spending as much time as possible at the beach.
