Russell Carson

In Russell’s role as Chief Financial Officer, he oversees financial strategy and operations across both 11th Hour Racing and Ocean Hour Farm, helping guide the organization’s mission to use sport as a force for restoring a healthy balance between people and the planet.

After earning a B.S. in Economics and Management Science from Cortland State in upstate New York, Russell spent 10 years in commercial lending, where he built a strong foundation in financial analysis before joining the team in 2012. 

Outside of work, you’ll often find Russell on the water, especially saltwater fly fishing, which is a personal passion. His time spent outdoors gives him a direct connection to the ocean and reinforces his commitment to protecting and strengthening ocean ecosystems.
