The 11th Hour Racing Team, led by Tim Healy and John Mollicone, campaigned successfully on the J/24 – the world’s largest class of competitive sailing regattas.
The team won the 2010 World Championships and East Coast Championships, the 2012 Nationals, North Americans, and East Coast Championships, and placed second in the 2011 and 2012 World Championships. They attracted attention on the racecourse, during clinics, and at different public events where they shared sustainability best practices on and off the water. Tim and John’s remarkable success saw significant behavioral change in other sailors.
