ONA Short Film Festival

Returning for its fifth edition in 2024, the ONA Short Film Festival takes place from September 5th to September 7th, 2024, on the charming Isola di San Servolo in Venice. This one-of-a-kind independent festival offers a rare fusion of cinema, nature, and community. Its curated selection of over 24 outdoor short films explores the regenerative force of nature and the thrill of outdoor sports.

This year’s festival will feature the world premiere of Between Waves, a new short film by 11th Hour Racing that dives into the life and career of sailor Francesca Clapcich.

Background

ONA Short Film Festival aims to share life-changing stories of outdoor sports, nature, and environmental awareness. We believe these themes can have a vital impact on today’s society. Direct contact with nature awakens us to the knowledge that we are a pivotal piece of the environment in which we live, and have a responsibility to protect it. Outdoor sports ultimately teach us values that create more sensitive people, and a better world for many more adventurers to come.
