Background

The Sea & Space Event for Earth Week 2025 is a transformative event that unites the exploration of our planet’s oceanic depths with the vastness of space to inspire global conservation and action. Situated at the Piccadilly Circus in London, this Earth Day celebration is dedicated to showcasing the intersection of Sea and Space technologies and their crucial role in solving our greatest planetary challenges.

The ocean and space are deeply interconnected realms of exploration. Living and working under the sea provides the closest condition to space, making it essential training for astronauts. These shared environments foster a unique collaboration between space and ocean explorers, who are natural advocates for protecting our planet.
