11th Hour Racing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications Projects Coordinator to support our communications team in executing projects efficiently, organizing workflows, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role will provide administrative, project coordination, and content support, helping to elevate our storytelling, partnerships, and content distribution. The ideal candidate is highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position is based in Newport, R.I.

Key Project Coordination & Administrative Support Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing timelines and deliverables for content production, communications campaigns, and storytelling initiatives.
- Maintain project management tools and workflows to help keep the team aligned.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to support project execution.
- Assist in planning and logistics for events, video and photography shoots, film screenings, and media initiatives.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed notes to track follow-ups.
- Help maintain and organize communications assets, including media (photo and video) libraries, content calendars, and reporting dashboards.
- Track communications-related expenses and assist with budget management.
- Support contractual processes, including project approval forms and intake forms.
- Manage subscriptions for online communication tools such as software, online platforms, and publications.
- Create and maintain a record of training resources, best practices, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve workflows and tools, researching features that enhance efficiency.
Key Content & Communications Support Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating content approvals to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
- Help manage the content calendar and track deadlines for social media, newsletters, and website updates.
- Provide research and organizational support for storytelling projects, editorials, case studies, and media outreach.
- Support graphic design projects internally and by coordinating with external designers and tracking timelines.
- Assist with video and photo production projects, including liaising with contractors, coordinating interviews and logistics, reviews, feedback cycles, and approvals.
- Assist with website audits and updates, preparing and presenting analytics for both our organizational and storytelling websites.
- Publish all approved website content, including blogs, webpages, and images, ensuring content is formatted correctly, optimized for SEO, and live on the website according to schedule.
- Support community engagement initiatives, including user-generated content activation and ambassador collaborations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Google Suite and familiarity with content management systems.
- Basic graphic design skills, including familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.Ability to work independently while
- collaborating effectively with a team.
- Passion for ocean health, sustainability, the outdoors, and environmental storytelling is a plus!
