Sustainable Bermuda!
[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1423751086688{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Team 11th Hour Racing spent a week in Bermuda networking with local organizations, observing the event during the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Bermuda, and supporting Land Rover BAR – 11th Hour Racing being the Exclusive Sustainability Sponsor of the team.
11th Hour Racing met with several of the most prominent scientific and environmental groups with the aim of understanding the issues that Bermuda is facing and to brainstorm synergies and potential projects culminating with the 35th America’s Cup in 2017 – with the vision of a long-term lasting legacy.
11th Hour Racing also met with the organizers of the America’s Cup World Series Chicago event, which will take place in June of 2016, to discuss their sustainability goals and potential partnership including the SHEDD Aquarium. One item of particular interest is the issue of pesticides in the Great Lakes.
Planning is already well underway for the America’s Cup World Series Portsmouth (UK) event which will run in July of 2016 and is managed by Team Origin, who has close ties with the home team, Land Rover BAR.
