Bisy Stancheva

Bisy Stancheva serves as Finance Manager, overseeing all financial operations across 11th Hour Racing and Ocean Hour Farm, with more than 23 years of experience in finance, accounting, and bookkeeping. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bookkeeper Certification from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). She is currently completing her MBA at New Bulgarian University.

A dedicated advocate for nonprofit work and women’s rights, Bisy also serves as Financial Officer on the Nantucket Music School’s board, reflecting her deep appreciation for music.

Originally from Vidin, Bulgaria, a town on the Danube River, Bisy developed a lifelong connection to the water while traveling to Germany aboard her father’s ship. After spending a summer on Nantucket, she fell in love with the island and now lives there with her family. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, photography, and traveling whenever possible.
