Erin Bowie

Before joining 11th Hour Racing, Erin worked as a communications specialist with multiple Regional Ocean Partnerships and the Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve, focusing on coastal resilience initiatives and sharing compelling stories about ecosystem restoration.

Growing up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, she developed a deep appreciation for the ocean and its role in shaping coastal communities, inspiring her commitment to environmental conservation. After earning a B.B.A. in Marketing and Communication Strategy from the University of Mississippi and an M.A. in Communication from Mississippi State University, Erin moved to Rhode Island, where she enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending as much time as possible at the beach.
